JOB DESCRIPTION

A leading hospital 30 minutes from Tampa, Florida, that has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum Pediatric Cardiology coverage.

About the Opportunity:

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7p-7a
Patient Volume: 11-12 per shift
Patient Population: All STAT-level patients
Facility: 22-bed ICU
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses

QUALIFICATIONS

One year of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Cardiac experience
Current, unrestricted, active license to practice medicine
Current DEA registration
Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Hampshire
Board certification in Family Practice or Palliative Care
Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a primary care setting.
Strong proficiency in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
Be highly collaborative, and enjoy leading care teams with a patient-centric orientation
Confident in his/her ability to deliver high quality primary care, which includes being available to patients and addressing their medical and social needs
Driven to care for those with comorbid conditions, the elderly and/or medically underserved
