Primary Care NP Needed in Montana

Job description

I have a client in Warm Springs, Montana who's seeking an experienced NP for locum coverage starting in May/June. Here are some of the job details:

3-6 month assignment with the option to extend

4, 10-hour days
On Call: One weekend in 4 working days overnight, and 1-2 weekday nights

Looking for Locums or Locums to Perm
Minimum experience required: 2 years
MT License in hand preferred

Support staff: RN's, LPN's
Patients per day: 10-15
Patient population/age: 18-89

Direct Patient Care 50%
Unit and Hospital Treatment Team Functions 35%
Treatment Team Responsibilities 10%
Hospital Wide Peer Services 5%

Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience):
• Masters’ Degree from an accredited APRN program as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• Licensed as APRN in the State of Montana; prescriptive authority with assignment of DEA number.
• Two years of experience providing patient care preferably as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the State of Montana.
