Family Nurse Practitioner | Community Center | WA | 3-Month Locum (Ext. Possible)

Job description

Join in with a network of Community Health Centers in Washington State. As a Family NP, you’ll provide full-spectrum primary care to newborns through geriatrics in a high-volume, fast-paced setting. Clinics support chronic disease management, acute care/walk-ins, and preventive services.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8a–5p (1 hour unpaid lunch)

40 hours/week, 16 patients max/day

3-month locum w/ extension possible

Start ASAP (2–3 week credentialing)

Environment & Support:

1:1 dedicated MA, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians

Many clinics have onsite pediatrician and a local administrator

EPIC EMR

Interpreters available; bilingual skills (Spanish/Russian) are a plus

1-week ramp-up; expected to see patients by day 3

Procedures:

Basic: IUD placement, minor wound care, injections

Must be comfortable treating newborns to geriatrics

🛠 Requirements:
Active WA license + WA DEA (required)

Board Certified FNP

At least 2 years FNP experience

Face-to-face pediatric patient care within past year

Clean background: no malpractice history

COVID + Flu vaccinated

• Start within 4 weeks – Must have active WA license + DEA
• Full-time, M–F 8a–5p – No weekends or call, 16 patients/day max
