We are hiring a Bilingual Autonomous APRN Float in Orlando. Responsibilities include physical exams, interpreting tests, and treatment plans under physician supervision. This role involves direct patient care and medication administration. The APRN will report to the Regional Manager and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.

Job Responsibilities
Practice medicine under physician supervision, exercising sound medical judgment and adhering to ethical principles; recognizing limitations and consulting when appropriate; staying informed about current technologies and industry standards.
Provide care for older adult patients with acute and chronic illnesses under physician supervision.
Remain accountable for patient care and outcomes, seeking specialist consultation when necessary, yet remaining involved in and responsible for detailed patient care.
Engage with hospitalists when patients are hospitalized.
Meet all clinical obligations including compliance with Accrediting Agency, CLIA, drug prescription guidelines, HIPAA, state and federal regulations, and safety standards.
Assess, diagnose, treat, manage, educate, promote health, and provide care coordination and documentation for patients with acute and complex chronic health needs using evidence-based practices.
Follow all internal policies and procedures.
Ensure the completion of all operational tasks according to departmental guidelines to guarantee proper clinical processing and documentation.
Maintain comprehensive and detailed electronic records in the EMR, documenting patients' health care plans and prognosis within 48 hours of each visit.
Provide patients with information to promote health, reduce risk factors, or prevent/manage disease or disability.
Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic data to develop accurate diagnoses.
Interpret data and diagnostic results to determine appropriate actions, including blood gases, radiology, EKG, etc., in collaboration with supervising physician.
Demonstrate behavior characterized by compassion, quality, loyalty, and conscientiousness.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, their families, and team members.
Document continuing education as required for licensure and certification.
Ensure that patients are seen by the physician every other visit.
Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with policy, procedure, and HIPAA requirements.
Follow the proper chain of command for managing patient complaints.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements/ Skills
Bilingual (Spanish) required; must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Certified as a nurse practitioner with current state licensure
At least 1 year of previous professional nursing experience with 1-3 years of experience practicing as a primary care nurse practitioner
Prior experience working in an electronic medical records system
Provide 5-star service in accordance with Better Health Group's mission
Skilled in traditional nursing disciplines of patient assessment and management
ACLS/BLS certification required as mandated by the state
Must demonstrate knowledge of appropriate patient care rationale
Demonstrate ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various groups of people
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Excellent written and verbal communication, teaching ability, and good telephone skills
