Compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – Behavioral Health & MAT Program | Charleston, WV

📝 Position Summary:
Echoes of Hope is seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our dynamic outpatient behavioral health team. This role plays a key part in providing integrated care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and chronic medical needs. The FNP will support medication-assisted treatment (MAT) protocols, conduct medical assessments, manage health conditions, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team.

⚕️ Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct primary and preventive medical care to clients in an outpatient behavioral health setting

Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physicals, screenings, and chronic condition management

Support MAT services by monitoring patient health, coordinating lab work, and managing withdrawal symptoms in conjunction with the psychiatrist

Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, and peer recovery specialists to deliver integrated, trauma-informed care

Prescribe medications in accordance with West Virginia regulations and maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

Participate in team huddles, case reviews, and treatment planning meetings

Educate patients on health promotion, medication compliance, and disease prevention

🎓 Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted FNP license in West Virginia

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)

Active DEA registration with MAT prescribing eligibility (preferred)

Experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health disorders

Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and cultural humility

CPR/BLS certification (required)

💼 Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time | Monday–Friday (flexible daytime schedule)
