Job description

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Provider with Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner experience to work locum shifts in Gastonia, North Carolina (NC). Starting July 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Family Medicine role:
Primary care, ages 2+
Annual physicals, sick visits, medication refills.
1:1 nurse to provider ratio
2-3 pts per hour
Epic EMR

Schedule: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri
Monday & Tuesday 9a-5p (60 min lunch),
Wednesday & Thursday 9a-4p (60 min lunch),
Friday 8a-12p

Requirements of the Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role:
NC state license; active, unrestricted
DEA & Dispensing licenses required
Board Certified
1 Year of experience
AHA (hands on) BLS
