Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Opportunity in Texas
Job description
Position Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Varies based on shift length; call required
Patient Load: 2–10 cases per day (age 16+)
Setting: 12 ORs (including Cath Lab); Level II Trauma Center;
Service Lines: Ortho (including joint replacements), General Surgery (robotic/minimally invasive), Neuro, GI Endoscopy, EP & Structural Cardiology
Skills Required: No blocks or post-op care needed; spinals preferred but not required
Certifications: CAA Certification, ACLS, BLS (new grads welcome)
- Full-time, Long-Term Contracts – 6-month contracts with the option to extend; full-time only, 6 CAAs needed.
- No Texas License Required – Work under MD supervision; credentialing turnaround in 30 days.
- Diverse Case Mix & Strong Team Support – Bread-and-butter cases, specialty cardiology, and neuro procedures; 1:4 supervision with a collaborative team of 5 anesthesiologists and CRNAs.
