CRNA Locum Tenens Opportunity – Tucson, AZ Area
Type: Locum Tenens
Location: Tucson, Arizona area (multiple hospital facilities)
Openings: Multiple CRNAs

Locations
Providers will be credentialed to cover multiple hospital locations across the Tucson area, including sites north and south of Tucson.

Start Date & Duration
ASAP
Ongoing coverage need

Prefer candidates available to cover at least 3 weeks per month

Schedule & Call
Monday–Friday shifts (shift lengths TBD)

Call required at most locations:
Beeper call with 30-minute response time
Call ratio: 1:5

Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and take call

Some locations have no nights or call requirements

Case Mix & Practice Details
Case Types: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Vascular, Regional Anesthesia, Spinals, Epidurals, Spines, Pain Management

Must be comfortable practicing independently and performing peripheral nerve blocks
***Training for blocks will not be provided; provider must provide case logs of blocks performed

Average cases per shift: ~5
Adult patients only (18+)
4 ORs daily

Anesthesia Model: Independent CRNA practice

Requirements
Active AZ license preferred but candidates needing to obtain an AZ license considered if full-time
Certified by NBCRNA
Minimum 1 year clinical experience (no new grads)
Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS from AHA or American Red Cross
Credentialing timeframe: ~30 days
Temp privileges available

Compensation
Hourly Rate: $240 + travel & lodging (no stipends)

Orientation Rate: $200/hour
Overtime/Holiday: 1.3x regular hourly pay
Weekday Call Pay (12-hr beeper): $400
Weekend Call Pay (24-hr beeper): $800

Travel & Lodging
Lodging: $200/night
Car Rental: $45/day
Flight: $800 round trip

Additional Info
Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facilities will not be accepted
