🌙 CRNA needed in Wilmington, NC– Night Coverage (Level II Hospital)

Job description

🌙 Predictable Night Schedule: Choose between a set 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation or 3x12s (Thurs–Sat nights), offering consistency and flexibility.
💪 Strong Overnight Support: Work alongside 3 in-house CRNAs, 1 on-site MD, and on-call OB, peds, and heart CRNAs—with call rooms provided for rest during downtime.
🧠 Diverse Case Mix: Primarily general and neuro cases with opportunities to perform OB and spinal anesthesia (preferred). No hearts or routine peds required.

📍 Location: North Carolina
🏥 Facility: Hospital – Level II Trauma
📅 Schedule Options:

Option 1: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Option 2: 3x12s (Thurs, Fri, Sat nights | 7p–7a)
🖥 EMR: Epic
📈 Daily Case Volume: 3–7 cases per shift
🧑‍⚕️ Practice Setting: Operating Room

🛠 Work Details & Support
CRNAs are medically supervised by in-house Anesthesiologists
Night shift includes 3 CRNAs onsite, with OB, peds, and heart CRNAs on call
1 MD Anesthesiologist onsite overnight
Call rooms provided for rest during downtime
Procedures: General, Neuro, OB (preferred), Spinals (preferred)
No hearts or pediatric cases required (90% of peds done by separate team)

✅ Requirements
Board Certification required
Active NC License (or compact – willing to license)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA
Experience with OB and spinals preferred
Credentialing: ~90 days

  • 13 weeks with option to extend
  • No on call
  • No hearts. No peds (they have a pediatric team that does 90% of the peds cases). Mostly general and neuro. Ability to do Spinal Anesthesia: preferred. Willing to work OB: preferred.
