Illinois Anesthesiologist Locum Opportunity

Job description

Seeking a board-certified Anesthesiologist to join a low-volume, outpatient surgical facility 45 minutes outside of St. Louis, This position offers a daytime schedule with no call responsibilities, providing a great work-life balance.

Position Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Setting: Outpatient surgical center with general, orthopedic, and GI cases
Patient Demographics: Adult and Geriatric patients

Case Types: Mild cases, infrequent ASA 4, with transfers of sicker patients to higher acuity facilities
Anesthesia Model: Supervision model with a 2:1 CRNA to MD ratio
EMR System: Epic

Compensation: $325 / hour + Travel and Lodging
Credentialing: Estimated 7 days
Additional Notes: No on-call duties; no ICU on site; strong CRNA team in place; MDs are primarily to support surgical group needs

Requirements:
Illinois medical license
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Active ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications

Medical Malpractice Insurance covered
