Anesthesiologist Opportunities – 10 Openings – Houston, TX
Type: Locum Tenens
Location: Houston, Texas
Openings: 10 Anesthesiologists

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3 months to 1 year
Shifts: Days or nights available (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts)

Call Requirements:
Priority given to call-takers: 1 weeknight beeper call per week + 1 weekend beeper call per month

Non-call options available if necessary (but call coverage is prioritized)

Weekend coverage optional

Practice Details
Cross-credentialing required at two Houston-area hospital sites

Anesthesia Model: Loose supervision

Cases (varies by location but may include):
Endo/GI
General Surgery
Vascular
Urology
Orthopedics
Radiology
GYN
Pain Management
OB
Cardiology
ENT
Neuro/Spine

Blocks, spinals, epidurals are not required but can be performed if competent/interested

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

Must complete credentialing (~60 days; no temp privileges available)

Pay Rates (Hourly)
Local (≤60 miles) – No Call: $310/hour

Local – With Call: $320/hour

Non-Local (>60 miles) – No Call: $320/hour

Non-Local – With Call: $330/hour

Overtime/Callback: +$25/hour

Beeper Call Pay:
12-hour: $1,000
24-hour: $2,000

Credentialing & Interview
Standard screening and phone interview process
