Critical Care APP Opportunity in Atlanta, GA

Job description

Fulfil is partnering with established hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia, with an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant to provide locum Critical Care coverage.

PAY: $125/hr (1099)
Location: Atlanta, GA; multiple site locations

About the Opening:

-Schedule: 6p-7a or 6a-7p, weekday and weekends shifts available
-Multiple facility locations
-Patient Volume: 10-15 per day
-Procedures: Airway management, including endotracheal intubation, extraglottic device placement, and safe use of RSI medications
-Will interpret ABGs, CXRs, ultrasounds, and chest CTs
-EMR: Epic
-Support Staff: RNs, care coordinators, consultant groups
-Must be board-certified: ACNP (Acute Care NP);PA-C (Certified Physician's Assistant)
-Must have GA license
-ACLS, BLS Required
-Paid travel & lodging (flight if needed)

Nocturnist & Weekend Coverage needed at 3 sites

Shifts:
13 hour shifts
Nights 6pm - 7am
Days 6am - 7pm

Skills Needed:

Medical/Surgical Critical Care:
-Competence in Airway management, including endotracheal intubation, placement of extraglottic devices, and safe use of RSI medications
-ACLS certification
-Interpret Abgs, CXRs, ultrasounds and CT of chest.
-Perform daily rounds.
-New consults, admissions, discharges, advanced care planning /discussing end of life care /POLST.
-Ability to formulate a differential diagnosis, assessment and plan for each patient.
-Work closely with other consultant groups, RNs and care coordinators.
