A respected academic medical center in Chicago is urgently seeking a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist with MICU coverage this summer. This role supports a high-functioning ICU team with a consistent schedule and no call responsibilities.

Assignment Overview:
• Start Date: July 14, 2025 (or ASAP with emergency privileges)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with flexibility
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts – Days & Nights – No Call
• Setting: Mixed MICU/SICU unit – APPs cover MICU only
• Bed Count: 18 MICU beds

Requirements:
• Active Illinois license (required – not open to licensing)
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience as an APP

Additional Info:
• Emergency privileges available for quick start
• Hospital-based coverage only, no outpatient work
