Cardiology Critical Care APP needed in New Orleans

Job description

Hello, this is Alisha, Senior Principal Recruiter at Aya Locums. I'm reaching out today about a new APP need in New Orleans.

Contract Length: Ongoing need, 6/1 start (pending credentialing)
Shift Details: 7 on / 7 off days and night shifts – preferably nights

Work Details:
· Support staff: Nursing, RT, NCC attending, +/- additional APPs
· Cardiothoracic surgeon, Intensivist support (formal daily rounding; phone availability overnight); comprehensive adult ICU patient management (closed unit)
· Patients per shift: 5-8
· Number of beds: 8
· EMR: Epic
· Skills required: A/C line insertion, Intubation, Chest Tube insertion
· Job Duties: patient management post-transplant/heart surgery. First assisting is not required.
