• Start Date: September 2025
• Contract Length: 3 Months, Ongoing
• Shift Schedule: PRN – 1 to 3 Nights per Month, 6:00pm – 6:00am
• Practice Setting: Academic Hospital
• Patient Population: Adults Only
• Patient Volume: Varies (not always at full capacity)
• Will cover the ICU solo during nights
• Responsible for all patients in the unit, including admissions, rounding, and procedures
• Must respond to Code Blues
• Phone support from intensivists and critical care fellows
• ER provides procedural backup
• EMR: EPIC
• Required Procedures: Central and arterial line placement, Vent management, Code response, Intubation experience preferred
• Must be Comfortable Working Independently
• Must be Board Certified
• ACLS & BLS Required
• Active CA License Required
• Minimum 2 Years of ICU Experience (MICU: Preferred; CVICU/SICU considered if prior MICU experience)
