Diagnostic Radiologist (Weekend Work) Needed in SoCal

Job description

This diagnostic radiologists RVUs average about 14,000 per year. They read an average of around 80 per weekday, 150 – 180 on weekends.

They do a mix of MRI, CT, ultrasound, and plain films. A good mix of each, heavier on the CT and plain films. No nuclear medicine, cardiac, or breast.
*Prefer a body imager.

Diagnostic Radiologist to help with Saturday and Sunday shifts
a. Start as soon as we can get them locums privileges
b. Sat and Sun shifts are 8am to 6pm ONSITE at Long Beach Med Ctr
c. The expectation is that they read everything that comes in during the shift and not leave any work for the next radiologist on duty
d. Minimum 1 shift per month
