Locum Gastroenterologist – Minnesota – 12-Month Contract

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a 12-month locum tenens assignment in Minnesota beginning March 3, 2025. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling and excellent support staff in a hospital-based setting. Travel and lodging are fully covered, and the client is open to licensing providers.

📅 Schedule Options (flexible based on provider availability):
Option 1: One 24/7 on-call week (Friday 5 PM – Friday 5 PM), ideally every 5th week

Option 2: One week per month, Monday–Friday, Endoscopy Suite coverage from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM

🏥 Practice Details:
Setting: Hospital-based

EMR: EPIC

Patient Volume: 10–14 per day

Population: Adult and Geriatric

Procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy, Endoscopy

Support: 4 MDs + 5 APPs on the team

Travel & Lodging: Fully covered

✅ Requirements:
Board Certification in Gastroenterology

Minnesota license (willing to license)

DEA + ACLS/BLS certifications

New grads welcome – 0–1 year of experience accepted

Credentialing: 60–90 days
