Flexible GI Locums in Central SC | Willing to License

Job description

Position Highlights:
• Schedule: 7 AM–4 PM onsite + offsite call (emergent return only)
○ At least 1 week/month
• Setting: Hospital, Outpatient Clinic & GI Center
• Trauma Level: 1
• Patient Population: 100% Adults
• Support: 5 GI physicians, 9 APPs, OR team & CRNAs
• EMR: Onsite documentation required (not billable OT)
Procedures Required:
• Upper/Lower GI endoscopies with biopsies
• Colonoscopy with excision of polyps
• Esophageal dilatation/manometry
• Sigmoidoscopy & more
Preferred Advanced Procedures (not required):
ERCP, EUS, liver biopsy, variceal treatment, etc.
Call Volume & Details:
• Weekday consults: Avg 6–10 new patients (with APP support)
• Procedures: 8–12/day (max 15)
• Offsite call is infrequent but paid if callback required
Cross-coverage at nearby facilities (under 10 min travel)

• At least 1 week/month
• 6 month contract + option to extend
