Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist needed in Washington State
Job description
We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist with an active Washington license for locum coverage due to a gap in staffing. This opportunity offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities at a facility with strong provider support and a collaborative environment.
Assignment Details:
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
Hospital Beds: 126
Patient Population: Adults
Average Census: 12–14 patients per day
Support: Work alongside 2 other GI physicians, hospitalists, and 2 APPs
EMR: EPIC (Proficient use required)
Shift Structure:
Daily shift standard: 8 hours for Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU)
24-hour unrestricted call coverage
ACU coverage on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
24-hour call coverage Friday through Sunday (call ends at 8 AM Monday)
Call Duties: Rounding, admissions, consultations, and add-on ACU cases
Availability Needed:
July: 1–13, 28–31
August: 5–10, 22–31
Requirements:
Active Washington Medical License
Board Certification in Gastroenterology
Compliance with all MSO credentialing requirements
