✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Deliver recreational therapy services to individuals and groups based on clinical needs and functional abilities
✔️ Design and adapt programs in music, art, dance, sports, and more to promote well-being
✔️ Monitor and document progress, behavior, and engagement during sessions
✔️ Collaborate with treatment teams to refine therapy plans
✔️ Maintain accurate clinical records and help manage recreation equipment and supplies
✔️ Participate in department meetings and interdisciplinary planning
✔️ Adhere to facility standards, safety rules, and compliance protocols

✅ Qualifications
✔️ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field
✔️ Licensure: CTRS or certification in Music, Dance/Movement, or Drama Therapy
✔️ Experience: 1+ year post-degree working with geriatric populations or individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, physical or mental illness, or substance use disorders
✔️ Technical Skills: Treatment planning, activity modification, behavioral documentation
✔️ Soft Skills: Creative, empathetic, collaborative, and adaptable
