NP/PA – 7on/7off – Parental Leave Coverage– Trauma/Critical Care

Schedule:
• 7 on / 7 off
• 3x10s: 7a–5p
• Start date: as soon as privileges are issued
• Orientation required
• Credentialing: Goal is temporary privileges quickly, but full credentialing could take 30–45 days

Work Details:
• Setting: Acute care hospital – inpatient rounding only
• Providers needed: 2
• Reason for need: Partial parental leave coverage
• Patients per day: 7–10
• Support: Never without a surgeon, 1–2 other APPs on shift
• No call
• Rounding and assessing in ER – morning rounds, discharge planning
• No procedures or surgery assistance (physicians handle all procedures)
• Fast-paced environment – provider must be comfortable hitting the ground running
• Team interview with trauma surgeons
• EMR: not listed

Requirements:
• Certification: BLS, WA DEA
• License: WA license required at submission
• Experience: 2–3 years of trauma or acute care team experience strongly preferred
• Travel covered with daily caps
