✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients in an acute hospital environment
✔️ Monitor and manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, and respiratory devices
✔️ Respond swiftly to patient emergencies and respiratory distress
✔️ Maintain precise documentation using EMR systems
✔️ Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to support patient outcomes

✅ Qualifications
✔️ Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
✔️ Licensure: Active NY State Respiratory Therapist License (Out-of-state applicants welcome)
✔️ Certification: RRT or CRT required; BLS mandatory (ACLS & PALS preferred)
✔️ Experience:
1+ year recent respiratory therapy experience
Hospital/acute care experience highly preferred
Pediatric respiratory care a strong plus
✔️ Technical Skills: Comfortable with respiratory therapy equipment and EMR platforms
✔️ Soft Skills: Independent, dependable, and quick to respond in urgent situations
