Employment Type: Full-Time
Hourly Rate: $65.51/hour

Support veterans through pharmaceutical excellence at a high-volume Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) facility. As a Staff Pharmacist, you’ll ensure the timely, safe, and accurate dispensing of medications and supplies for those who’ve served.

✅ Qualifications
✔️ Education: PharmD from an ACPE-accredited institution
✔️ Licensure:
    • Active Tennessee Pharmacist License
    • Authorization to handle Controlled Substances
    • VetPro Certification (post-hire)
✔️ Experience:
    • Regulated, high-volume pharmacy (mail-order experience preferred)
    • QA/Compliance oversight
✔️ Technical Skills:
    • Microsoft Office proficiency
    • Automated Dispensing Systems
    • Controlled Substance verification
✔️ Soft Skills:
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and safety-minded
    • Strong grasp of compliance, SOPs, and hazardous materials protocols

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Verify prescriptions for legend drugs, OTC meds, med/surg supplies, and Schedule III–V controlled substances
✔️ Oversee accuracy at checking stations and fill stations
✔️ Monitor and QA controlled substance orders and documentation
✔️ Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and provide compliance guidance
✔️ Review and report drug mix-ups, incorrect dosages, or label discrepancies
✔️ Follow all VHA and CMOP documentation and reporting requirements
✔️ Maintain compliance with safety precautions and hazardous waste regulations
