Position Overview
Work behind the scenes at a federal mail-order pharmacy supporting veterans nationwide. You’ll manage automation systems, prepare and verify prescriptions, and play a vital role in ensuring accurate medication delivery—no patient-facing work, just precision-driven operations.

✔ Education: High school diploma or equivalent
✔ Certification:
✔ PTCB (Certified Pharmacy Technician) or
✔ ExCPT (National Healthcareer Association)
✔ Preferred Experience:
✔ Prior work in institutional or automated pharmacy
✔ Skills:
✔ Strong attention to detail
✔ Mechanical aptitude
✔ Comfort with barcode/NDC verification

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔ Prepare, label, and dispense medications using automated systems
✔ Operate Baker Cells, A-Frames, and other high-speed dispensing equipment
✔ Verify NDC, strength, and drug match for prescriptions
✔ Track inventory, rotate stock, and monitor expirations
✔ Perform QA checks and assist in controlled substance handling (Schedules III–V)
✔ Maintain and clean automation equipment
✔ Follow strict safety protocols for hazardous material handling
