Overview:
A leading facility in South Carolina is seeking Hospitalists for three different shift types to provide high-quality inpatient care. This is a 6-month locum tenens opportunity with block-style scheduling and 12-hour shifts.

Available Shifts:
🟢 Day Rounder
Primary responsibilities include rounding on an average census of 15–20 patients.
No admissions required after 6:00 p.m.
No procedures; Code Blue response required for assigned patients only.
Late backup duty approximately once every 14 shifts (6:00–8:00 p.m.).

🟢 Day Admitter
Focused on admitting patients from the Emergency Department (ER) during the day shift.
Collaborates closely with an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) during overlapping hours.
Shift ends at 8:00 p.m. with additional physician resources available for support as needed.

🟢 Swing Shift
Afternoon to early morning shift (1:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.) focused on admissions.
Primary contact for ER admissions from 1:00–6:00 p.m.
Night coverage begins at 6:00 p.m., with additional support from a Night APP and Nocturnist.
No new admissions after midnight to ensure proper hand-off and shift end at 1:00 a.m.

Strong communication and teamwork skills
Able to collaborate with APPs, nursing staff, and emergency physicians
Values efficiency, documentation accuracy, and timely care delivery
