Are you a licensed physician committed to serving vulnerable populations? The Illinois Department of Human Services is seeking two experienced Physician Specialists to provide essential care at Madden Mental Health Center in Hines, IL. This is your opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges.

💼 What You’ll Do:
• Serve as primary care physician for adult psychiatric inpatients
• Direct and oversee medical care on assigned pavilions
• Conduct patient evaluations and treatment reviews
• Collaborate with clinical teams on patient outcomes and quality care
• Serve on medical committees and respond as Medical Officer of the Day as needed

📚 What We’re Looking For:
• Valid Illinois Physician and Surgeon License
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• DEA and Controlled Substance Licenses required
• Experience in inpatient or psychiatric settings is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
