Location: A coastal city in California known for its beautiful beaches, surf culture, and vibrant community. This city is a popular destination for both tourists and residents who appreciate its natural beauty and laid-back lifestyle. Approximately 75 miles to San Francisco! Facility: Provider will be working at two locations. Location one: Clinic offering comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology Location two: Hospital offering a variety of medical services. Opportunity: Locum coverage needed for OB/GYN Department This role includes a mix of clinic and hospital call responsibilities, laborist role Primarily low-risk patients, but with access to strong specialist support and a Level III NICU 1-2 clinic days/week 24-hour in-house hospital call (6 calls per month, 1:6 schedule) - 8a-8a anticipating needing locums coverage for 6 months Shifts Per Month: 6 call shifts per month, 5-8 clinic shifts per month Required Procedures: Vaginal deliveries C-sections (assist required) Sterilizations, birth control, laparoscopic tubals (at Surgery Center). No abortions or postpartum tubal ligations (except during C-sections). EMR: Cerner Support Staff: Clinic: Full-time ultrasonographer with 30+ years of experience, 1 RN managing diabetic patients and NSTs. Hospital: Ultrasonographer and 24/7 anesthesia coverage (10 MDs). Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included.
