OB Hospitalist – California – June Start – Aya Locums

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: JO# 2834607
• Location: Oakland, CA
• Start date: June
• Length of commitment: 3-6 months with the option to extend
• Schedule: 13-hour shifts, nights, times are (7p-8a). (12hr shift, and then final hour is for handoffs.)
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 10-15 shifts/mo
• Patients per day: fluctuates. Active labor management is generally 5-8 patients/night. Generally 1-2 ED consult/night
• Patient population/age: adult
• EMR: epic
• Special procedures: bread and butter OB hospitalist. Experience with operative deliveries including forceps greatly preferred. **Please note Locum physician will not perform abortions, but will be responsible for taking care of any complications that may arise from an abortion.
• Preferred Skills: Experience working with midwives preferred. Spanish speaking skills preferred.
• Required: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency, Active CA license, DEA, BLS, 2 years experience
