Flexible OBGYN Call Schedule | 24-Hour Coverage in Ohio

Job description

Contract Length: ad hoc but will likely have a need for 6-12 months
Shift Details:
1-2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month of 24 hour call
Call requirements: 1-2 weekends per month, 24 hr call coverage
Work Details:
• Support staff:
• Patients per day: ~ 1 delivery per day, variable number of phone calls at night and weekends.
• Patient population/age: Women 18-65+
• Department description: Covering urgent clinic calls for 3 physicians, 2 midwifes, and 1 NP, gyn emergencies, and L&D call. Mansfield is a Level 2, We do have an inhouse laborist model for back-up for any concurrent deliveries
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital bed size: 326
• Special procedures: Emergency gynecologic surgery, c-sections, vaginal deliveries. We can set any candidates up to speak to one of our physicians for more details about procedure types.
• Skills required: Board Certified OBGYN

Requirements:
• Board Certification: OBGYN
• License required: Yes
• DEA: Yes
• Certifications required: BLS
• Minimum experience required: 5-10 years
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days

• Extended Coverage Need: Seeking ongoing ad hoc coverage with potential for 6–12 months
• Well-Rounded Role: Includes emergency gyn surgery, C-sections, and L&D call support
• Collaborative Setting: Work alongside 3 physicians, 2 midwives, and 1 NP in a Level 2 facility using EPIC
