Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced OB Hospitalist/Physician to work locum shifts in San Antonio (multi-site), Texas (TX). The anticipated start is ASAP, work with a competitive market rate and benefits.


The OB Hospitalist Role:
Hospital annual delivery avg.: 372
OB hospitalist annual delivery avg.: 192
Estimated Patient Encounters (per shift): 3
9 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) rooms
7 Postpartum rooms, 2 dedicated to C-section suites
NICU – Level 1(8 beds)
GYN Coverage: Yes, but limited
Perform Circumcisions: No

Facility:
Anesthesia: On-sight 24/7
MFM: No, available for consultations
Residency Program: No

Required:
TX state license; active, unrestricted
Board certified OBGYN
TX State DEA
BLS, ACLS
100 deliveries in past 24 months no assisted, but preformed
25 GYN Cases in the last 12 months

Schedule:
Minimum 4+ shifts per month.
