Job description

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced OB Hospitalist/Physician to work locum shifts in Metropolitan San Antonio, Texas (TX). The anticipated start is ASAP, work with a competitive market rate and benefits.


The OB Hospitalist Role:
Expected patients per day: 12
NICU Level: III
Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 60
Support Staff: MFM (on-site) - Yes; Residents - OB physician residency; In-house Anesthesia - Yes
Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: No

Required:
TX state license; active, unrestricted
Board certified OBGYN
TX State DEA
BLS, ACLS
100 deliveries in past 24 months no assisted, but preformed
25 GYN Cases in the last 12 months

Schedule: Anticipated 6-month need.
Minimum 4+ shifts per month.
24-hour shifts (7a-7p)
Shifts per block (in-a-row): 6-8.
Minimum commitment: 4 shifts per month.
