TMS Technician II

Job description

Chrysalis Psychiatry is a growing outpatient mental health practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We offer a variety of mental health services including medication management and interventional treatments for PTSD, depression, and other mental illnesses. We are looking a for hard working and empathetic individual to join our team as a TMS Technician. In this vital role, you will help ensure smooth clinic operations and deliver supportive, high-quality care experiences for our patients. We will provide training.

TMS Technician Job Responsibilities:
• Administer TMS treatments according to specific physician protocols. Set up the TMS medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.
• Provide good communication with the physician and other members of the team
• Provide excellent patient care and treat patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport. Provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to patients struggling with depression and/or anxiety.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS system setup throughout treatment.
• Administer psychiatric rating scales and counsel patients on completion of scales.
• Record session notes, track insurance authorizations, and schedule patient visits using medical scheduling software.
• Front desk receptionist duties, including answering phones, customer service, and scheduling

Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience working in mental health or 1 year of work toward master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or social work
• Ability to expertly document patient care and transcribe patient appointments.
• Expert attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of all documentation and records.
• High level of interpersonal skills, empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
• $48,000-$56,000 annually based on education and experience.

• Paid time off and holidays

Clinic hours are 7 AM - 6 PM Monday - Friday. Technician shifts vary.
