Title: Psychiatric Physician
Location: Lebanon, PA
Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm Mon - Fri on site (On-Call: 1 weeknight every two weeks and 1 weekend every two months)
Duration: Full-Time Long Term
Facility: Lebanon VA Medical Center
Rate: $550,000 per year
Summary:
JR Enterprise is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to be part of our network providing integrated care and comprehensive services to the Lebanon VA Medical Center in Lebanon, PA. Required Qualifications:
· Board Certified/Board eligible in Psychiatry.
· Current and valid license in United States.
· Valid and current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.
· Ability to participate well in a team approach to treatment.
· Ability to be flexible in providing evaluation, treatment, and consultations.
· No history of professional misconduct, as documented by National Data Bank, Child Abuse and Criminal History clearances (Any infractions must be reviewed in detail with BH Director).
The qualified Psychiatry Physician must provide:
· Full range of psychiatry services to include treatment and management of general and specialized mental health needs in the Veteran population.
· Mental Health issues may include but are not limited to dementia, mood, schizophrenic and addictive disorders, PTSD, and those Veterans with co-morbid and medical/neurological disorders.
· Mental Health Services include inpatient on the one 22-bed unit.
· Responsible for knowing the reusable medical equipment (RME) instruments, equipment, medical devices, and/or supplies located in clinical area(s).
· Efficiently and effectively navigate the electronic health record for timely completion of all required medical center documentation.
· Obtain, read, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all RME in clinical areas(s).
· Other duties as assigned.
· Follow-up on Psychiatry Issues.
