Radiation Oncologist – Full-Time or Part-Time | North Carolina | Onsite Only
Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist for an immediate long-term locum tenens opportunity at a leading outpatient cancer center in North Carolina. This is an exceptional chance to join a highly collaborative, patient-centered team in a well-supported setting equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
📍 Assignment Overview
Start: ASAP upon credentialing
Location: Onsite in North Carolina (no remote options)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Includes 1 admin day/week and 1 undertreat day (no scheduled clinic)
Call: None
Duration: Full-time preferred, will consider 2 weeks/month
Peer Review: Required for all new-start patients (paired with another Radiation Oncologist)
👥 Team & Facility
Fully integrated with medical oncology
Support staff includes on-site dosimetrist, physicist, oncology RN, and patient navigator
Patient Volume: ~2 consults + 8 follow-ups per day
Age Range: Adults and geriatrics (18+)
⚙️ Technology & Treatment
Modalities: IMRT, IGRT, 3D-CRT, SRS/SBRT
Equipment: Varian TrueBeam, Eclipse Treatment Planning, MIM Software, Aria
Skills Required:
Strong proficiency in Eclipse planning
IGRT & IMRT expertise
Experience with TrueBeam and peer review workflows
✅ Qualifications
Board Certification: Radiation Oncology (ABR required)
License: Active NC license required
Experience: 2–3 years preferred, but strong new grads will be considered
