Interventional Radiologist Needed in Oakland, CA!

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Interventional Radiologist to provide PRN coverage at a busy California hospital. This facility offers a mix of scheduled procedures and emergent trauma cases, with full support during the day shift and 24-hour call coverage.

🔹 Position Details
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM day shift with 24-hour call until 8:00 AM the following day
Type: PRN – scheduled as needed
Patients: 5–8 procedures/day
Support: Full team of RNs and techs during the day; typically sole provider onsite
EMR: EPIC

🔹 Procedures Include:
Biopsies
Drainages
Tunneled access
Trauma-related hemorrhage control
Occasional GI, Gyn, and Urology emergencies

🔹 Requirements:
Board Status: BE/BC in Interventional Radiology
License: Active California medical license required

• Board Certification: BC or BE
