North Alabama Hospital is actively seeking a board-eligible Urologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage starting ASAP. This assignment blends inpatient, outpatient, and surgical responsibilities, and is best suited for providers experienced in managing high-volume clinical workloads.

This role includes both clinic and hospital coverage, including admissions and surgical procedures. Beeper call is required with a 30-minute response time and a 25% callback rate. You’ll work closely with an experienced team, including 3 MAs, 1 PA/NP, and 3 office staff.

- Start: ASAP | End: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday–Friday plus call
- Call: Beeper (clinic + hospital) | Response: 30 minutes
- Avg. Call Volume: 5 phone consults/day | 1 admission/day
- Patients/Shift: ~25
- Admissions: Yes
- EMRs: Athena & Meditech
- Stroke Certified: Yes | Trauma Level: 3
- Temp privileges: Available
- Credentialing: ~30 days

Requirements:
- Board Certified or Eligible in Urology
- AL license or IMLC required
- No fellowship or additional certifications required
- No call supervision or resident teaching responsibilities
