We are seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for a locum tenens opportunity 1 hour drive from Atlanta, GA. This role offers a dynamic mix of clinic, surgery, and call coverage at a well-established acute care hospital serving a high-demand patient population.
Opportunity Details:
• Start Date: May 1, 2025
• Schedule:
o Monday – Friday: 8 AM – 5 PM (clinic)
o 7 days of 24-hour call per month (includes 1 weekend)
• Patient Volume:
o Clinic: 25-28 patients per day
o Surgical Days: 2-3 robotic cases or 6 other cases per hospital day, plus 4-6 cases on ASC days
• Charting System: Epic
• Support Staff:
o 2 MDs, 3 APPs (APPs handle rounding, consults, discharges, and clinic patients)
Procedures & Skills Preferred:
• Robotics (preferred but not required)
• Biopsies
• Cystectomies
• Vasectomies
• TURP, TURBT
• Kidney Stone Surgeries
• Basic office and hospital-based urology procedures
