Locum Tenens Urologist Opportunity – Flexible Schedule & Supportive Team

Job description

A well-established acute care hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist for a locum tenens opportunity. This position offers a great balance of clinic, OR, inpatient rounds, and call coverage in a dynamic and well-supported medical environment.

Position Highlights:
✅ Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible 8-hour shifts)
✅ Call Rotation: 1 in 11 days and 1 in 11 weekends
✅ Diverse Caseload: 50% adult, 50% geriatric patients
✅ Advanced Technology: Robotic & laparoscopic urologic surgery preferred
✅ Collaborative Team: Work alongside experienced RNs, LPNs, CMAs, RTs, and lab staff
✅ EMR System: EPIC

Requirements:
🔹 Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
🔹 Active North Carolina Medical License (Licensing not available)
🔹 BLS & DEA Certification Required
🔹 Minimum 3 years of experience preferred, but new grads considered
🔹 Clinically active in the past 12 months
