Job description

Coverage Details:
• Coverage needed per month: : Mon-Friday 7am – 5pm,
• Frequency of any Call needed: Mon – Fri; Call 5pm-7am
Schedule: Weekend Call Fri 5pm – Mon 7am….Due to schedule accommodations, we will need the locums to be flexible as the schedule may be different from month to month (Example: may work Monday to Monday, Friday to Friday, etc.).
They cover day and night call at both locations.
• Schedule Details: Client is sending over schedule needs ASAP
Work Details:
• Support staff: 4 NPs, 1 AP; locum involved in covering/supervising teaching services (residents/fellows).
• Department Description: : General Inpatient coverage to include ER Call. Neonate and Pediatric not required. Preferred skills included: Laparoscopic surgery, Radical cystectomy w/ileo-loop conduit, Radical prostatectomy, Nephrectomy, Pelvic node dissection, robotic surgery, partial nephrectomies/intraoperative u/s, Renal and bladder u/s w/biopsy, TRUS biopsies, Incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, ESWL, Brachytherapy. Robotics is a PLUS
• Patient Volume: 10 patients per day
• Surgeries per week: 7
• Beds: 641 total
• Level 1 trauma center
• Patient Age Group: Adults
• EMR/Documentation System: EPIC
• EMR/Documentation system experience – required or preferred?: preferred
• Unit Details: Holmium laser certification preferred. Lab and x-ray onsite.
• Special Procedures Required: General urology (adults), advanced endoscopic techniques, ureteroscopy
• Special Procedures Preferred: laparoscopic surgery, radical cystectomy with ileo-loop, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, pelvic node dissection, robotic surgery, partial nephrectomies/intraoperative ultrasound, renal and bladder ultrasounds (with biopsy), TRUS biopsies, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), brachytherapy
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: YES – BC
• Certifications: ABMS/AOA, BLS
• State License(s) / IMLC Req’d?: PREFERRED
• CSR Req’d?: YES
• DEA Req’d?: YES
• Minimum Experience Req’d: 2 years
Privileging Timeframe: 30-60 days WITH ACTIVE SC license, 120 without SC license
Willing To License?: Prefers SC
IMLC Accepted?: No
